Located in Milton, in inner-city Brisbane, is a comfortable open plan speculative fitout inspired by Nordic design.
Raw Commercial Project’s design team worked with their client, Bachrach Naumburger Group, to develop a space with neutral tones that would appeal to a variety of potential professional services firms.
Infinity Commercial Furniture was engaged as the supplier with the design palette brief to provide products in “monochromatic shades of white, grey and neutral colours with blonde-wood accents.” Central to this Nordic theme was the use of Envy Timber range of workstations, desk modules and collaboration tables.
The Envy Timber 4-Way Double Sided Workstations with white frame and Polytec Polar White Matt finish top are accentuated with the Laminex Birch Ply edging and beech timber legs. Woven Image Echo Panel Screens are the first hints of grey tone to be used throughout the project. Each workstation is paired with the popular Barrett Task Chair and white Harmony Steel Mobile Pedestal.
The Envy Timber colour theme is replicated with desk modules and a bar height collaboration tables. The bar height table is accompanied with the stylish Paige Stool with white sled base and upholstered in house cashmere charcoal fabric.
The versatile Paige range is used within the meeting room, with the white 4-star high arch swivel base seated around the Blaze Round Meeting Table in Laminex Raw Birch Ply Natural Finish and white powder coated base. This top also features on the white tulip shaped base, Amore, to provide a softer feel with natural, flowing lines.
The grey upholstery continues in the reception area with the timeless Space Arm Chair in Wortley Belgrave Dove and polished alloy base.
This speculative fitout is a testament to functional design with an open floorplan, collaborative areas and private meeting spaces. Combined with the monochromatic tones and blonde-wood accents is the very embodiment of what makes Nordic design so great.
