Infinity Commercial Furniture was the place to be for Saturday Indesign. Partnering with leading brands, polytec and Laine, hordes of architects and designers visited the Waterloo showroom for a fun and informative experience.
Leading trend forecaster, interior designer and building industry authority, Marylou Cafaro, packed the venue with her presentation ‘polytec Trendjournal: a Snapshot of Joinery Trends in Australia’.
Messina and Archie Rose led a stellar cast of food and beverage options. In the morning, attendees were caffeinated thanks to Gathering Events. In the afternoon, Hut Dogs’ German sausages and pretzels filled the soul.
The Candy Room was filled with fun and laughter, as attendees took selfies to go into the draw to win 2 nights accommodation at Spicers Vineyard Estate, Hunter Valley.
“It’s a fantastic result,” said polytec’s National Commercial and Specification Manager, George Abagi. “Marylou’s presentation packed the house. Attendees were queuing at the door to get in.”
“It was an amazing mix of interior designers, architects and project managers. We really loved the engagement between supplier collaborators and clients. A really good vibe. A great day.”
Laine’s Group Sales Manager, Don Graham, was equally impressed with the turnout.
“We were expecting a modest traffic, with the election and rain, but we’re amazed by the outcome,” said Graham. “There were great quality people who attended. They wanted to be informed and there was a lot of sample requests.”
“The attractions of coffee, hot dogs, gin and gelato were hands down a success. There was something catered for everybody. The ICF showroom has a good layout and flow. The way the furniture was laid out had people sitting around, talking and staying.”
This was ICF’s first time participating in Saturday Indesign and Managing Director, Darren Mifsud, was humbled by the response.
“It was truly a great day. To see so many people from the architect and design industry come and visit our showroom,” said Mifsud. “It was wonderful to see people have a great time and stay around to enjoy the space.”
“I just wanted to say a personal thank you to the polytec and Laine teams for their support in preparation for Saturday Indesign which helped make this day a success.”
